Please note that the library will be closed Saturday 1st February to Monday 3rd of February inclusive for the bank holiday weekend. It will reopen on Tuesday 4th February at 10.30am. Don't forget that the library's eResources are available 24/7 with your library card number and pin!

Breathwork and sound workshop with Bernadette of Sundara Self Care Thursday 13th February, 7-8.30pm

Join Bernadette of Sundara Self Care, a qualified breathwork teacher for an evening of breathwork and sound therapy. In this class Bernadette will prepare you, guide you through & back out of a complete Breathwork Session. Breathwork will induce calmness into your body & mind. Learning to breathe properly will completely change your life & help to keep you illness free. Suitable for over 18s only. Please bring a pillow and blanket to the event. Yoga with CC Darlington Thursday 27th February at 7:00 pm

This is a rescheduled event from January. Join CC for an introductory session to yoga for adults. Baby Play Time for 0-2 years - Friday 7th February, 11am-12pm (held on the first Friday of each month) All welcome. Rhymetime for 0-5 years - every Wednesday at 11.15am. All welcome. Sensory Friendly Hour - every Saturday, 4-5pm. All welcome. Just Read! Junior Book Club for ages 9-12 years is back on Friday 28th February at 3.30pm. Lego Free Play Every Saturday in February, 2-3.30pm
|
|
Bunclody Library invites you and your family to join us for a session of LEGO Free Play. LEGO and Duplo will be made available for children and families to build their very own designs. This session is suitable for ages 5+. No Booking Required.

Ireland Reads Children's Events
|
|
Ireland Reads Day takes place on Saturday 22nd February. As part of our celebrations, we have a wide range of children's events running throughout the month of February.
Creation Station - Create your own book monster, Saturday 8th February, 10.30am-12.30pm. This is a family creative event. No need to book
Colouring Station, Saturday 15th February, 11.30am-12.45pm. Join us for a book-themed colouring station featuring some of your favourite characters from children’s books. This is a family-led event. All materials will be provided. No need to book – all are welcome.
Storytime at Bunclody Library (for ages 4-7), Saturday 15th & Saturday 22nd February, 10.45-11.15am. Listen to some of the library staff’s favourite children’s stories. Parents/guardians must remain in the library for the duration of the library. No need to book - all welcome!
Ireland Reads Day Creation Station - Design a book cover, Saturday 22nd February, 11.30am-12.45pm. we will have our Sensory Collection on display in the meeting room for families to come in and see. Amongst the items we have are: a dark den, sensory books, lego & duplo, story sacks, sensory basket and much more. All are welcome.

Children's Book Clinic, Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th and Friday 21st February, 3.30-4.30pm. Looking for book recommendations? Trying to find your new favourite book/series? The library staff are here to help! We will put together a selection of books for you and we will hopefully introduce you to your new favourites! For ages 7-12 years. Booking essential due to limited spaces. Please book for the child only. Each child will be given a ten minute slot and will be given a questionnaire at the start to see what books the child is interested in.
