Art of the Vatican with Elaine Hoysted Thursday 19th June, 7pm

Regular Adult Events at Bunclody Library Adult Book Club, Thursday 5th June, 7pm. We will be discussing The Fisherman's Gift by Julia Kelly. Our next book club choice is No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy. Books will be available at the staff desk. New members are always welcome.
Knitting Club, every Thursday 10.30-12.30pm. All welcome.
Classic Film Club, Friday 27th June, 11am-1pm. Join us for a screening of a classic film (some golden oldies as well as more modern classics). All welcome!

Cruinniú na nÓg - Saturday 7th June
As part of our Cruinniú na nÓg programme, we have two fantastic events for children on Saturday 7th June.
!Soundscapers! with Laura Hyland for ages 4-6 years, 11am Explore sound through listening and singing for creativity, fun, and connecting with each other. Using games, chats, listening exercises and sound experiments to create your own music or ‘soundscape’, with your voices, your bodies, your imagination, and your sensitivity to each other. Storytelling through LEGO with The Brick X Club for ages 7-10 years, 2.30-4pm This engaging brick-building workshop invites children to explore themes of friendship, teamwork, and community through hands-on LEGO challenges. Participants will each create a mini-scene that reflects their idea of connection and then combine their builds into a shared 'Community of Inclusion' LEGO world. To book a space, please visit here.

Father's Day Creation Station Saturday 14th June, 2-3.30pm
Pop into Bunclody Library to create a fantastic card that you can give to someone special on Father's Day. This a family-led creative event where we invite families to sit down, relax and make some wonderful creations together. All materials will be provided. No need to book. All welcome!

Fostering Is for You - Tusla Information Session Wednesday 18th June at 10.30am-12pm
As part of National Fostering Awareness Month, join us at Bunclody Library on Wednesday June 18th from 10.30am-12pm, hosted by Tusla Fostering—Ireland’s national fostering agency and experts in foster care.This information stand is an opportunity for anyone who may be interested in learning more about fostering and how they can make a meaningful difference in a child's life. Whether you’re actively considering fostering, simply curious or know someone who is interested this stand will provide valuable information, inspiration, and a chance to ask us questions.

Grown Ups & Me Storytime and Craft Saturday 21st June at 11am, for ages 4-7 years
Join us for a storytime & craft session for parents/guardians and their children ages 4-7 years. Together, we will read some stories and create a little craft to bring home. Sensory Afternoon Saturday 28th June, 2-5pm
Join us 2-5pm today we will have our Sensory Collection on display in the meeting room for families to come in and see. Amongst the items we have are: a dark den, sensory books, lego & duplo, story sacks, sensory basket and much more. All are welcome.

Summer Stars Reading Adventure is almost here! The Summer Stars Reading Adventure is back this summer! We invite all children in the area to come along to the library and join Summer Stars during the months of June, July and August. Pick your books and come back in to us regularly to be entered into weekly raffles and win little rewards along the way. The Summer Stars Reading Adventure is a fantastic way for children to continue reading over the summer months and we will be holding lots of fun activities as well. More details will be released very soon!
